Synopsis
Dragon Superman Trilogy Marathon Screening includes three films: Dragon Superman, Moonlight Superman and Skyfly Superman. Starting from 2pm and will be finished around 7:30pm.
Directed by Japanese KOBAYASHI Satoru and Taiwanese SHAO Lo-hui, the trilogy marks the inception of Taiwan's Tokusatsu productions. After Dragon Superman's blockbuster release in February 1968, the team swiftly produced two sequels, Moonlight Superman and Skyfly Superman, later that year. This rapid production exemplified the thriving Taiyupian market.
2pm - Dragon Superman (90’)
Journalist San Lin-jun and his colleague attend a jewelry exhibition when the Cosmic Gang attacks, causing an explosion. A masked vigilante confronts the gang, leading to a battle between justice and evil.
4pm - Moonlight Superman (79’)
To obtain the Golden Light Statue, the Cosmic Gang takes the owner's family hostage. The "Detective Boys" witness a crime and are kidnapped by the Gang. San Lin-jun hears their cries and suits up to save them.
6pm - Skyfly Superman (79’)
The thieves take children and women hostage for experiments. Dragon Superman arrives in time to defeat the villains and save them out. However, Yuan-tai's parents seem to hide some secrets, suggesting a larger conspiracy.
