Synopsis
The story begins with the life stream of a murder. Facing the camera, the masked murderer announces, “You’re the next one!” The seemingly true video suddenly becomes the real life in the far distance. With the life stream and human organ trafficking issues, the film depicts the cold-bloodiness of the society caused by objectification. Although the life stream is brutal, the blood and tear and the self-willed paternal love of the avenger are hidden behind the story. He fights against the criminal network consisting of money, power and violence. To the eyes of some powerful people, human beings are seen as objects, existing only for them to earn huge profits by trafficking organs. Those human beings are called “organ donors”. The rhythm of the film is fast. The story is very entertaining with continuous twists and turns. The protagonist of the film is Zhang Qi-mao played by Joseph Zhang, whose daughter went missing when she was three months old. It is suspected that she was stolen by a child abduction group. His wife killed herself because of her guiltiness. He went into investigation but was framed and put into jail. When he got out, he found that her daughter has been stolen by a human organ trafficking group and become an organ donor whose heart was taken away. He has been in a rage and begun to use violence to seek a revenge. However, he realizes that her daughter might be alive. Therefore, he tries to rescue her from the huge criminal group. How can the father and daughter escape from the destiny of being controlled?
