Setting his camera aside, Aki Kaurismäki (Fallen Leaves, p.53) and his friends in Karkkila transform an old foundry into their own cinema, Kino Laika, named after one of his dogs. Amidst Cadillacs, motorcycles, rock bars, and the beauty of nature, residents of this small Finnish town fully immerse themselves in the enchantment of this venue.
