With a seating capacity of 466, the IMAX® Theatre at Emperor Cinemas (Lisboeta Macau) has the biggest IMAX® With Laser screen across Hong Kong and Macau, measuring approximately 23m in width and 12m in height, alongside the new-generation IMAX® with Laser projection system and extraordinary quality in sound guaranteed by new 12-channel surround sound system.
Macau's First MX4D Motion EFX Theatre
The MX4D cinema features MediaMation 3rd Generation Dynamic Special effect seats, which create 3 degrees of freedom from movement up, down, left, right and forward, backward. The cinema house combines wind, lightning, stamping, neck-sweeping, leg-sweeping. There are more than 10 kinds of motion and environmental effects such as vibration, including water spray, rain effects, that meet European drinking water standards and high purity smoke without PM2.5, as well as scent effects of up to dozens of different flavors, which make for a wonderful presentation of different types of films.

Emperor Cinemas (Lisboeta Macau) features VIP House the CORONET. Here, luxury is baked into every inch of the space, where guests enjoy a 5 stars experience in an intimate setting, coupled with gourmet delights prepared by our master chefs. the CORONET at Emperor Cinemas (Lisboeta Macau) features two-seater superior compartment with adjustable back and footrest. Guests cosily seated in total privacy will find everything they need in arm’s reach: a small dining table, a ‘service’ button, wireless charging station and blanket. There is a steward serving pre-ordered meals and drinks to guests who have direct access to the theatre via e-Tickets, and our service ambassador is eager to help guests who press the ‘service’ button anytime during the screening!

Best Sight & Sound by SONY 4K Laser Projector × Dolby Atmos
All theatres (except IMAX) are equipped with the DolbySLS cinematic sound system. One of the theatres is even equipped with Dolby Atmos (Dolby panoramic surround sound), which is MacaoMacau’s first theatre with Dolby Atmos. Its sound is more flexible than the previous Dolby 7.1 with fixed speakers and gives a more dynamic effect, making it possible for a multi-dimensional auditory experience, achieving a surround sound field, showing more details of the sound and giving a better overall viewing experience.
